More information about the 2008 Colorado AFV Day Odyssey event held October 10, in Boulder Colorado:
The event included an all-american hummer that can run on CNG, E85, Hydrogen or unleaded. Over 90 Coloradoans attended for the whole experience. Attendees wandered through a maze of vehicles and booths set up outside the library. A Denver City hybrid garbage truck, Hybrids-Plus and Burt Toyota plug-in hybrids, US GSA flex fuels, a Intergalactic Hydrogen natural gas/FFV vehicle and more were all on display. Several of these were taken out for test rides. The response was positive and the crowd was enthusiastic about the hydrogen car model kit donated by Intergalactic Hydrogen. The kit was given to an attendee as a door prize for answering our ethanol life cycle question. Attendees heard a “Life Cycle of Biofuels” presentation and learned about natural gas use in vehicles from a panel of experts. Watch for a repeat of this event in October of 2010.
