  • Northern Colorado Clean Cities members and stakeholders reduced their petroleum use by 638,000 Gasoline Gallon Equivalents, or GGEs in 2009, through projects like biofuels, natural gas vehicles and fueling sites, hybrids and idle reduction. This equals a total of 5,574 tons of Greenhouse Gas Emissions Reduced. Good job NCCC members and stakeholders! This was a huge increase over 2008, Join Clean Cities and help us keep this up!
  • Members, reduced petroleum use by a grand total of 50,586 Gasoline Gallon Equivalents or GGEs through projects such as com pressed natural gas (CNG) transit and light duty vehicles, Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEVs), Idle Reduction projects, biodiesel and ethanol blends and other various strategies in 2008.
